hungerhub started in 2018 out of a realization that workplace meals were not designed for how offices actually operate nor optimized for the future of work. Traditional catering is slow, rigid, and designed with a “one size fits all” format instead of individual needs. Companies wanted simplicity for their workplaces. Employees wanted choice that addresses their dietary preferences and tastes. All while restaurants needed a better way to access, cater to and address office meals. So hungerhub created a new model that solved all three, a model we called Uncatering™.
hungerhub grew significanlty over the years and expanded across the country in order to offer the same reliable service and solutions to numerous cities across Canada. Listed in the top 100 by The Globe & Mail's Report on Business as one of Canada's Top Growing Companies for 5 years in a row (2020-2025), named as Comapny of the Year by VentureLab in 2023 and recognized as a winner in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Canada in 2022.
